21 April 2010: BELLVERB & BELLBIRD5 DEMO CLIPS NOW AVAILABLE

31 March 2010: BELLVERB & BELLBIRD5 LAUNCH EVENT
We will be launching these two new amplifiers at the Ponsonby Crusing Club in Auckland at 2pm on the 10th April. There will be a brief product demo and then we will be throwing the floor open to anyone who wants to try one of these amplifiers our.
We will be awarding Greenstone T-Shirts to the three people who get the best sound on the day out of one of the Bellbird family amps (Bellbird, Bellverb, Bellbird5 Bellverb5) so bring along your guitar and have a go!
We are also planning to showcase the Greenstone JSN-880 custom amplifier so of those of you that like metal, come along and hear it in anger.
25 December 2009: BELLBIRD FAMILY GROWS
We have been extremely busy undertaking a redesign project which has resulted in the Bellbird family of amplifiers. We now offer the Bellbird and its reverb variant the Bellverb. We are also introducing the Bellbird 5 and Bellverb 5 which are single ended amplifiers utilising the Bellbird pre-amp.
All of these amplifiers are compatible with the Bellbird extension cabinet. Watch this space for details of our forthcoming product launch event in March next year.
We have also added some new sound clips of Ben Sinclair playing his Bellverb 5 prototype. Check them out on the clip page.
4 September 2009: BELLBIRD ON TOUR! LUGER BOA & HEAD LIKE A HOLE NATIONAL TOUR
Over the next two weeks a Greenstone Bellbird will be on tour with Luger Boa who are supporting Head Like A Hole on their national tour.
The Bellbird will be in action at the Auckland, Hamilton and Wellington gigs so get yourself along to support NZ music and have a listen.

20 June 2009: Ryan Thomas from Luger Boa and Custom Audio Boutique used the Greenstone Bellbird live on stage at SkyCity for the Juice TV gig. See the sound clips page for further details.
19 April 2009: The launch event was a great success. Here are some comments on the Bellbird:
"Great clean - lovely breaking - and fat, warm sexy dirty sounds. I've not
heard a Les Paul sound so good for a long time."
"The amp is awesome, warm sounding and very dynamic. I was lucky enough to play one of Ash's fine guitars through one, gave it a good blast - it's a loud amp - seems to compare fairly closely to a Fender Blues Deluxe in terms of output volume... (thats about the only thing i'd compare a Bellbird to a crappy Blues Deluxe though...)
Got some nice Hendrixy blues tones with some quick eq adjustment... but also listening to some of the other players
Ryan from Custom Audio had some great 80's rock/crunch tones coming out and Martin from the Hot Grits had all manner of Jazz-cleans, funk and some nice drop-D (??) gritty blues stuff going on..."
"One thing that really strikes me is how well the amp responds to dynamic change. It can go very musically from whisper to loud just with variation in finger pressure and attack. With my tele I was getting some tones that a tele/deluxe reverb type of player would definitely feel comfortable with, but with much more dynamic subtlety and sweetness than any DRri I've plugged into."
14 February 2009: Greenstone Amplifiers are open for business! We are working on some custom amplifer concepts in the background. Meantime a huge effort is going into the launch of the Greenstone Bellbird, our first production amplifier.
